How do i get my outlook EMAIL(not Exchange) to sync w/my iPhone?

The iPhone won't sync with the Outlook desktop, at least not with the apps that come with it. Is there an app at the App Store or a 'jailbreak' app that will do this?

This did not help. I want my iPhone to work just like a Windows Mobile or Palm OS device - I want to 'mirror' my Outlook Inbox on my iPhone. I am a single user and don't have/use MS Exchange. Joed911's instructions are right out of the owner's manual, and do not do what I want to do. I have asked several other iPhone 'experts' before and always get this answer or (my personal favorite) 'what an archaic concept - why would you want to do that?'

Download the latest iTunes to your computer . Set it up to sync with Outlook . Then re-sync it.

Use iTunes to sync settings from Outlook (non-Exchange)

If you are using Exchange, please see the Exchange ActiveSync guide.

To sync email account settings from Outlook to the iPhone via iTunes on your PC, do the following:
1. In iTunes, under Devices, select iPhone. (If your iPhone has been activated, iTunes will automatically display this view.)
2. Click the Info tab.
3. Check the boxes for the items you want to synchronize. In the Email and Calendar lists, verify that Outlook is selected.
4. In the lower right-hand corner of the iTunes window, click Sync. The selected information will sync with iPhone.

If you did not store your password in Outlook, use the following steps to store your password on your iPhone:
1. On the iPhone, press the Home button.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Mail.
4. Under Accounts, tap the desired account.
5. Under Incoming Mail Server, tap Password. The keyboard is displayed and a cursor appears in the Password field.
6. Type your password and tap return. Your password is saved.

Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

A simple to implement, reliable way to sync Outlook 2016 Contacts and Calendars with my iPhone 6? (iCloud was a nightmare)

There are about 50 (at the very least) apps in app store ( I use 'Easy Backup" that would allow you to scan your contacts on iphone and email backup file so you can import it (one way sync) to either Outlook or Icloud.

How do I sync my S4 with Microsoft Outlook calendar on my desktop?

android

you can use outlook.com on your android phone or tablet with the free android app, both published by microsoft + seven. if you have a nokia x phone, you can use the free nokia x app.

  1. do one of the following:

    • for other android devices: download the app or search for outlook.com in google play with your android device.

    • for the nokia x phone: search for outlook.com in the nokia store using your nokia x phone.

  2. enter your outlook.com email address and password, and then tap next.

  3. choose additional options like sync mail frequency and nickname to use, and then tap next.

  4. check/uncheck sync calendar and contacts, and then tap next.

note

  • app might not be available in all countries or regions.

  • you can't edit your contacts in the app.

if you're unable to use the app for any reason, you can still set up outlook.com on your android device. here's how:
  1. on your device, tap email, then tap add account.

  2. enter your outlook.com email address and password, then tap manual setup.

  3. under what type of account is this? tap exchange.

  5. enter your password.

  6. for server name enter s.outlook.com.

  7. make sure the use secure connection (ssl) checkbox is checked, then tap next.

  8. choose your account options and tap next.

  9. to finish setup, tap done.

* Connect your iPad to your laptop or desktop using the cable that you got with the ipad.

* iTunes will launch in the PC automatically.

* You'll need to find the itunes source list, choose "iPhone" and click on "Info" tab and then "Sync Outlook calendars" option.

How do I synch outlook 2003 with iphone

You didn't say whether you're trying to sync everything (mail, calendars, contacts) or just some things or one thing (like contacts only). I don't know if you're using an Exchange server or even if you have the info you'll need to sync with an Exchange server.

I have a Windows mobile device (AT&T Tilt) running Outlook 2007 and everything is sync'd. We also started purchasing the iphone for our employees and sync their email, calendar and contacts to their phone.

I could probably give you step-by-step information (based on how I do this for my users at work) if I knew whether you'll use iTunes to do this or Exchange Active Sync and what you want to sync between your phone and outlook. One method (iTunes) will only update your data between Otulook and the phone when you connect it to the computer with Outlook configured on it but, the way we do it at work, they receive email, data, changes, etc in real time.

Try using this link http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/mail/

What you will find here is support topics and instructions for Exchange Active Sync, setting up email accounts, troubleshooting for contact and calendar syncing.

You can also search support on Apple's Web site. Entering the keywords: iphone outlook 2003 will bring up a lot of support info.

You can use iTunes or MobileMe for synchronization. If using iTunes then try this:

You can configure which items are synchronized during a one time set up process. After initial set up, each time you connect the iphone to your computer, the changes made on your computer or device are synchronized.

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer. iTunes should open automatically.
  2. In iTunes, in the source list, under Devices, click the entry for your iPhone.
  3. Click the Info tab.
  4. Select which items you would like to sync. For example to sync only calendars, under Calendars, you would click Sync calendars from, and then click Outlook.
  5. Do one of the following:
  • To synch all calendars, click All Calendars.
  • To limit the calendars that are synched, click Selected calendars and then click the calendars you want to sync.
6. Click Apply.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for using Fixya and you can let me know how helpful I've been by rating this solution.

Outlook contacts disappear when I sync with my iphone

Make sure that your sync settings are setup for two way sync. You may have them setup to either overwrite the device, or to overwrite Outlook. It may be under the advance settings.

Using Outlook on my pc - disappearing email on my iPhone

Hi, Possibly this could be the reason. Your iPhone might have been setup with IMAP connection, and Outlook with POP3. In this case, once email is downloaded by Outlook, it will be deleted from the att.net server. So, go to Advanced in your Outlook account configuration and Select the option leave a copy on the server.

Then you will have to delete all the emails individually from your phone too.

Thanks
Sandeep

Sync Outlook 2000

You can transfer your contact list, but not your calender. Here are the steps to take to successfully transfer your contact list from outlook 2000 to the iPhone:

1. In Outlook, export your contact list as a Comma Separated Values (Windows) file
2. In windows accessories, launch Address Book
3. Import into Windows Address Book the file you created in step one
4. Now back in iTunes, sync your iPhone contact list with Windows Address Book

You contacts should come over intact.

Sorry, but there is no solution that I know of to import Calendar events.
