My music won't show up....

You need to browse to the music folder on your memory card.

If you still cant see it - connect to PC and find out which folder on mem card is used for music and then move the files into that folder. You phone should pick it up if its able to play that music file format (eg MP3).

WE ARE TRYING TO GET MUSIC OFF PC TO sony playstation portable.

ok what kind of psp? old phat or new slim.also has the firmware been updated to newest? needs to be really. and finally you do have the usb cable yes? ok so plug it in, go to the system sub catergory on the psp menu and find usb connection, press button and connect, pc should reakonise, hopefuly open a box where you can scroll to open folder and click on that, that should open a window with various folders in which is the inside of the memory stick that is in your psp. you need to make a folder called music if you cant already find one. i cant remember weather that needs to go in the root directory ( the first window opened with all the folders in) or weather it should go inside a folder called psp. anyway after couple shots you should get it right, oh and just drag an drop the music files into the music folder, hopefuly you should get it working, good luk.

1st - Place the SD card in the phone. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

Downloading music on my mp3

Your player appears as a USB mass storage device in the My Computer window. You can organize files and transfer music to your player while connected via USB connection.

1.     Click and highlight one or more songs to transfer between your player and your computer

2.     Use drag and drop actions to transfer music files and folders to your player

3.     Organize your music in folders. Your player will play your music folder by folder so that you can organize your music by artists and albums. You can drag and drop entire folders to your player. Your player will play the music files that are not inside folders first followed by the music files inside folders

Icant find music on player

The reason you can't see it, is that, for some unknown reason, the music folder is hidden by default. When viewing the Sansa in Windows Explorer you need to enable "view all folders". Click on the TOOLS menu at the top of the window, then folder options, click on the VIEW tab, and choose "Show hidden files and folders". Click APPLY and OK to come out.

You should now see the music folder and be able to drag and drop files to it. Don't forget to go back into Folder Options and hide the hidden folders again when you're finished, as leaving it in this setting can leave critical system files exposed, that could be accidentally deleted.

All this was for Windows XP, but other versions are similar, it was on the VIEW menu in Win 98 if I remember correctly. Hope that helps.

The way I do it on my MP3 is go to My Computer when device is connected. Then double click on the external drive or whatever it lists your MP3 player as (should be below your D: drive). If you open the external drive you will find whatever folders are on your MP3 player. Drag and drop your music in the music folder and it should work like a charm!

When i connect to the computer, i can add songs, but the songs on it dont show up

I don't know if you've inadvertently deleted the music folder, but that's what I did, when I deleted all the folders by mistake, thank heavens for in-store warrenty, they replaced it with another one. What I noticed on my replacement is synchronizing with media player doesn't work, it creates ghost folders and thinks music is there when it isn't, I don't understand it. Solution: open two windows for my music and sansa e280 music, then just drag and drop the folders; what I noticed is that in my music the folders are named by artist, and I prefer to see them by album, but when I view them in the player, I see the albums with the tracks in the right order.
