Need to check the defrost timer. you can try manually advancing it to see if everything kicks in. i had a similar problem and replacing the timer fixed it.

After removing back plate you will see a drain line that comes down and has a rubber duckbill device on the end of it. This is to prevent warm air from entering the freezer but also allow water fro the auto defrosting cycle to drain out. This duckbill device gets sticky with time and will seal shut preventing the defrosted ice water from draining into the pan to evaporate away. You can take this duckbill off and clean it but I have always just replaced them. It may look different on yours.

Freezer is frosting and refrigerator is warm.

As far as your freezer frosting up, sounds like a door seal problem, run your fingers along the seam of the door seal, there should be no splits/holes in the seal.
As far as the refrigerator either there is a secondary fan motor, or there is a obstruction blocking the air movement, if the freezer has a bad seal, its suspect ice is still building up.

Freezer is working fine but no air is going down to the fridge. Fan is running ok and no ice in the freezer that I can see. I can't get the back place off to expose the evaporator coils.

Possible that the back plate is struck up with frost and so if you can shut down the fridge for about few hours the frost might melt off and release the freezer door., Now check the fan, check the wires to the thermostat.
The possible fault can be the failure of the AUTO_ DEFROST TIMER. So check the timer which is normally at the bottom of the fridge and which needs to defrost every 8 hours so that frost build up does not happen and reduce air flow and thus cooling to the fridge.

Freezer works fridge doesnt

Check to see if the fan in the freezer is running and also that the back wall of the fridge is not frosted up, if it is, it needs the defrost timer or defrost element or defrost termination therm replaced as it would be causing an air curculation problem

Coils frozeup and iced on top shelf of freezer---did a defrost--when shut the door don't hear the shhhh sound-nothing blocking it and seal is good--light is on but won't freeze any food--threw out alot! ...

Defrost the unit totally so you can see no more ice, may take a day or more with door open, once done, restart the unit, check you can hear the fan running in the freezer, if not, replace fan unit, if you can hear it, the defrost timmer may have failed or the defrost element has gone. If the unit appears to work correctly, dont be fooled, the problem will return, if the unit does not work as it should, regas is required. Hope that helps.

Dont forget to vote for the solution, thankyou

Freezer is icing over.

If you have done that and it just ices up again later, then you have an issue with one or more of your defrost components. Your clixon and therm fuse would have gone faulty. they are both located on the freezer evaporator.(Not expensive to buy). If they are open circuit. it indicates your element must be working.

Not circulating air

You will need to have your door gasket seals inspected and possibly replaced.

Then you might want to check behind the back cover of your freezer and look for ice build up and excess frost on your evap coils - this indicates seld defrosting problems - and the symptoms are functioning compressor and evap fan but air is not cool enough - Once you manually defrost those with a dryer and let your unit cool for a few hours, if it comes back to normal you know you have a defrost problem and will need to have your control board / defrost components checked.

Also - you might want to have them check your damper system it might be shut or not opening to let the air from your freezer in your refrigerator. (if applicable)

Just defrosted my freezer and is akll frosted over

When you say it is frosted over, do you mean the interior of the freezer is frosted, or the evaporator coils?

A couple things to check for:

1. Is the door gasket making a good seal when you close the door? A good quick fix for a bad seal on the gasket is to rub a thin layer of Vaseline (the original jelly kind works best) on the rubber to help it stick and to fill any scratches that might be keeping it from sealing tightly.

2. Is the fan running on the inside of the freezer? The evaporator coil in the freezer needs a fan to blow air over the coils to keep them from freezing over. They don't run continuously, and on some units will turn off when the door is open, so try holding the door switch shut when you check.

3. Is the defrost cycle working? Frost-free freezers have a defrost cycle in which a small heater turns on to thaw any frost that has begun to form. To check the functionality of the heater and the defrost timer will probably require a visit from a technician... It would take a while to explain it here, but if check the first two and come up empty handed, post back. You will need a volt/ohm meter.

I would check the first two

Check the back wall of the freezer compartment for ice buildup. Sounds like you have a defrost issue.
