My magic jack phone stopped ringing and the handset says no line

It sounds like the magic jack is not getting power. Is it plugged into the computer, or a wall outlet? Is the blue light on?

If it is plugged into a computer then unplug the Magic Jack and reboot the computer wait until it reloads and then plug the Magic Jack into a different USB port.

If it is plugged into the wall, Then unplug it for 5 min and then plug it back in.

If it doesn't come up and it is still covered by Magic Jack open up a chat with them at the link here. http://www.magicjack.com/contact.html

What is wrong with my phone, for three days in a row when my magic jack starts a pop up screen appears which shows: Login to your existing magic jack account. Your magic jack Plus "Sylvie Dagenais" ha

I have had Magic Jack for many years and this has also happened to me from time to time. If your MJ is plugged into your router simply take it out and plug it into one of the USB ports on your computer. It should then reboot itself and pick up any updates. After it has done so then remove it from the USB port on your computer and plug it back into your router.

It would also be a good idea to do this from time to time just so it can update it's information. I do it on a monthly basis.

I have magic jack and am trying to use it for a medical device because I have a pacemaker and defibulater and it need to be monertered by a LATITUDE COMMUNICATOR.Can magic jack be used for the LATITUDE...

I have and use Magic Jack too..Does your Latitude Communicator just plug right into a phone jack with a regular phone cord? If it does, then it should work...You will have to always leave your laptop on and never turn it off because Magic Jack requires a constant connection...Plug your equipment into the back of your Magic Jack and then with another phone, call the company that monitors your pacemaker/defibulator and ask them to "test" your line to see if you will receive a signal from them through your Magic Jack...You will to have to plug it all in and then test or you won't ever know...When I plug my home phone into the back of my Magic Jack, I receive a dial tone just like it was connected to a home based landline phone

My computer doesn't recognice the MagicJack

Magic Jack reserves the first empty drive letter number after your hard drive letters. The problem is that it cannot share this drive letter with a flash drive -- in that when Magic Jack is out, some newer flash drives (such as 4GB Kingstone DataTraveller) cannot claim the same letter, and therefore the flash drive does not work. The reverse is true also in some cases too. if you plug in an older flash drive that uses say letter G when G had been previously claimed by Magic Jack, and you click on the Magic Jack icon (tha references G at this time) the Majic Jack stops working on that PC for good. This seems to have come up recently (late June 2009) withthe Magic Jack's new software update. The annoying beeps also have been introduced with this update. Somthing enters digits into Magic Jackphone number dialing buffer that looks like a memory leak from another part of the computer RAM due to poorly written drivers or invalid shared interrupts or DMA regions.
