Intel driver required fro my p4 845GVSR mother board

FixYa advised me (in response to my previous query fr same problem) to use intel driver for my 845GVSR mother board, instead of default XP driver, so that I can get the required screen resolution, i.e. 1440x900 for 19" samsung TFT. But Please help me where I get the Intel driver downloaded from.

Follow link & select OS to download drivers.

Please remember not to fire latest BIOS driver which may not detect your USB port.

Bought barebones(B69-9005)hade trouble installing win 7 kept saying no signed driver,. called them , they sent me soft ware for driver install. started dowloading then stoped. now monitor just reads no...

If it has onboard video it may be a bad video cable or messed up pin on one af the connectors. If it is a installed video card the cable could still be one problem but also try pulling the video card out unplugging the power supply cable from the mother board for about 20 seconds or so. Then reslot the video card into the mother board and plug the power supply back into the mother board and see if that helps. I have also had to take the small flat battery out of mother board for a second or two to make it reset. If you decide to do the battery thing make sure the power supply is unplugged from mother board. Good luck.=)

How to install CPU- Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 into a asus barebone system P4-P5N9300pc please?

This particular CPU is not on the list of processors supported by this board. See "CPU Support List" tab:

ASUS P4-P5N9300 Spec

How to install Socket LGA 775 CPUs:

Lift up the cpu slot load plate (which covers the pins and also locks the cpu in place) and install the processor slowly, vertically and carefully into the socket without bending any of the tiny pins in the motherboard socket. Lock the load plate.

The advent of the LGA 775 form factor moved the tiny pins from the CPU to the motherboard socket. Great for Intel, not so great for motherboard manufacturers. Now bent pins are the responsibility of the board makers. Customers with bent pin problems are no longer contacting Intel.
