No volume when playing movies

The Problem> Sound: Placing the mouse pointer over the ICON to the lower right of your screen should indicate the percentage of Volume your speakers are adjusted for. Right click and you get the Open Volume Mixer section. The playback devices can be your computer speakers or a separate headset with microphone. Here you can make adjustments accordingly. At the bottom are Volume Control Options that allow you to increase or decrease the audio reception. Generally, when you insert an external Headphone with Microphone into the sound port in; an automatic disconnect may occur preventing computer speakers from working. This is common with Laptops. If you lack sound, you may need to update the sound drivers, change cables, and/or check to see if the speakers work on another device.

My Ipad volume is way too low when playing movies. Can you help?

Try adjust the control panel to full volume. If it the volume is still too low to hear movie conversation, put the movie back to computer and use some video tool to set it volume up. I think the pavtube video converter can increase video volume by 400% by converting them.

What does the sw level setting do?

hello.. the sw level is short for your subwoofers volume setting .when you use a subwoofer thats powered and connect it to your recievers sub out, this is than a way to adjust the subs volume from your seating position rather than only adjusting it from the back of the sub.. i recommend putting your subs volume(on the back of the sub itself) to midpoint and playing a bass heavy song or movie and adjusting the sub level on the reciever to how you like it.. enjoy

No sound w/ movie . just got camera

Make sure the volume has not been turned down. Check the menu settings, you will find volume adjustments for multiple items. Have you tried playing the videos on a computer with the same results? Since this is a new camera, if you can not get it sorted out take it back right away. Warranties are just for this kind of problem and you need to get it in before it runs out.

How do you view a movie on the camera itself

This is explained on page 68 of the manual. After selecting the picture/movie, use the 4-way control buttons. Up for pause/play. Down for stop. Left for rewind. Right for fast forward. Use the zoom lever to adjust volume.
