Hi, since these systems are specifically sold through Carrier and Carrier dealers, then you need to go directly through them for all parts. Please call them at the following number to order the parts or find a local dealer to order the parts needed.
Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm Eastern
Phone: 1.800.227.7437 or 1.800.CARRIER

Let me know how this turns out.

I'm temporarily staying in our RV while our house is re-furbished. The water heater is only working intermittently. Can anybody help me?

RV water heaters are mounted against an outside wall. Go outside and look for a removable cover that has a mesh vent installed.
Open this cover and the water heater should be inside.

If the water heater is propane your propane tank may be low of fuel. Also very cold weather may not let the propane produce adequate vapor to fuel the water heater. A low level of propane can make this problem worse.

If the water heater is electric, you may have too large a wattage draw from other appliances, when the water heater is trying to heat. Turn off items such as hair blowers, AC, and Microwave when the water heater is on. If a generator is providing the electricity it may not have enough output. If shore power is providing the electricity you need at least 30 AMPs.

I have Aqualink RS6. Screen is lit, but no display. Is they some thing I can check?

Check to see if all 4 wires are connected inside the controller (your inside wall unit) and also at the power center outside. After removing the cover outside you will see a red 4 terminal strip (4 wires) above the buttons. Above the buttons is low voltage, below the buttons where the relays are is high voltage, be careful.
Your inside controller (cover pops off from below) has the same red terminal strip that hold the other ends of those same wires. If you have a later model it may use a telephone type connection.
If it all looks good call a pool tech who should have a portable controller, he can plug in outside to see what happens. Good luck with it.

My AC is running inside but the outside unit is not.

could be seized fan motor, failed capacitor, faulty contactor, bad wiring. Turn the breaker off to the unit and try to spin the fan with a long screw driver or something similar but be careful not the bend the fan blade, If the fan will not move don't force it you need a new motor,If the fan spins freely move on open the cover and check the wiring but becareful the capacitor can still have a full charge and shock you even with power off. Other the that you will need a volt meter that can check volts, amps, and capacitors to futher test the unit I suggest calling a local HVAC contractor and having the unit repair and tuned up by have a tune up done you can recoup the cost of the repair with the energy savings from the tune up.

It is very loud inside when turned on. the noise sounds like a loud rumbleling noise.

Is this a window unit, a whole house AC, or a Split package type?

If it is a window unit remove the front cover, reach in and see if the blower fan teeters on the mother shaft. If it does the blower fan center hub has failed and the fan will need replaced. (I have changed 2 blower fans on my Carrier 19,800BTU window units that run 23 hours a day.) They just fail over time. Who knows why.

I cannot find the model number on an older model Carrier Air

you should be able to remove the front cover and access the filters and a date sticker that tells the model no. The filters are likely to be reusable filters instead of disposable.

The covers of those through the wall systems are held on with clips or clips and hooks.

They can typically be removed by two methods.
1) pull the bottom out and then lift up and out.
2) lift the cover straight up and then pull out.

Some units have the filter mounted to the unit, others have it mounted to the inside of the cover.

Need to access inside of Carrier air conditioner.

After removing the cover and filter, you should be able to see the fins for cleaning. If there is styrofoam in front of the coil, it should not be there for proper operation.

How to Clean 1984 TRANE Cooling VENTS inside house No Manuals

The Outdoor unit will be easy 1st diconeect power at panel, or disconnect box near unit. Remove top of unit, be careful not to damage fan blades. Spray coils (fins) with a light degreaser let is soak for 5 mins. wash out coils from inside the unit out. Spray straight on so you push the dirt out the other side.

Re assemble and start up.

Indoor coil will be accessed by removing front cover and you may have another cover to expose the inside of the coil fins. That is where you need to clean. Spray degreaser on coils and rinse off. If its gunked up then use a wire brush 1st. Carefull not to bend the fins over.

Check the drain pan at bottom of the coil to be sure it's not full of stuff. Blow out if needed.

You should be clean and ready for the season
