Nordictrack 11.5 treadmill stops when i get on the treadmill what is the problem

I repair motor controllers but this one gets me its a mc2100els 18w controller what must i repair on the board to make the motor not loosing power

Spray drive rollers with some belt grip....... Buy it in aerosol can from hardware.....

hi Clint its not the belt i have removed the drive belt from the motor so that the motor can spin freely you literately stop the motor with you hand and i used a new motor still do the same thing i don't know if PWM controller is the problem or mosfet transistor not giving the motor enough torque

How to repair incline on Nordictrack 3000 when lowering it damages plastic housing

You have to check the position switches at both upper and lower position of the incline. If the switch or sensor is faculty then the incline Motor will not stop and will go beyond the limit.

see if you can remove the motor hood and look at the drive belt. it is a little belt from the motor to the front pulley to turn the walking belt. its either broke or fell off

When I turn on my nordictrack e4400 it runs for 1 second and then stops

hi,
There are two possibilities for this problem
1. Check the speed sensor on near the motor pulley. Remove the sensor and clean it and re-fix it. then make a try. if problem remains then
2. The motor speed controller is faulty. There is an IGBT for controlling the motor speed. If it get shorted the motor will run it its high speed.

Be sure before opening the treadmill remove the power.
