Tandard practice to change the oil on a clutch replacement. Was the replacemmiles it's covered, but it's not sounds like the gearbox oil need changing. You don't say how many miles it has done. Gear box oil is not usually changed in a clutch replacement. Did an Audi garage carry out the rlacement? It could be the cable needs adjusting to allow the clutch to have free movement

I drive a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T. It has a 6 speed manual and it is becoming increasingly more difficult to shift gears due to a stiff and notchy gear shifter. I've had the car well maintained and serviced and...

The hard to put into gear is the cause of either a worn or almost worn out clutch or the syncro in the transmission. To test the clutch just observe where the clutch releases. If it releases at the top of the clutch stroke then it most likely is the syncros, if it releases at the bottom (ot too early in the stroke on release) then it is the clutch and you need a new clutch installed. Hope this helps you.

Audi a4 2ltr tdi 140. engine has a chatter only when hot . removed aux belt but noise still there. sounds like a pulley chatter. vehicle drives and performs a1.

Just a guess.. could be bearings of (external) belt castors squeaking when hot (= dry). What is the mileage? May need to replace a pulley or so...

I had something like this once with the water pump of my 2,5 TDi and I replaced the pump preventively ($120 I think), problem was solved.

Noisy

Could be low transmission fluid or a noisy clutch release bearing.

No clutch resistance on audi a4

This sounds like a common Audi problem but its usually in early shape A3s and TTs. If you heard a snap, then possibly the pedal has broken where the clutch master cylinder connects to it. In this case you can just replace the pedal but it can be an early sign of a faulty master cylinder. If the pedal is ok, it maybe the master that has failed and needs replacing. Worse cases, the slave cylinder maybe faulty or even the release bearing could be sticking on the input shaft. Bleeding the brakes will not help, the clutch shares the same fluid and reservoir but is on a different hydraulic system. The clutch would need to be bled from the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder on top of the gearbox. This can be difficult without the car on the ramp, but is worth trying before replacing parts. What engine does it have?

Stiff gearchange on 93 vector diesel

A few things can cause your symptoms. Check the slave cylinder, see if the res. is full, any leaks, or if the pedal changes if you pump it. If it checks out then you may need a new pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, and/or clutch assembly.
