Question about SanDisk Sansa MP3 Player

1 Answer

I have a sandisk Sansa Express MP3 player that is a couple of yrs old and I have had no problems with it. When I try to turn it on it displays SanDisk in the window but will not turn on. When I connect it to the computer to try to recharge it, the computer will not recognize it and it will show nothing in the window of the player. I have tried to do the hard reset and this does not seem to help. My husband has one just like it and the computer will recognize his.

First, try a soft reset. Do this by pressing the center button and the up volume button simultaneously and try turning it on. If that does not work for you, you will need to get a micro sd card (it can be a dummy) and insert it into the slot on the side of the mp3 player. If you do not have one, you can use one of the round edges of a paper clip (be careful) to get it to come on. When you put either in, it should come on automatically, but if not, just press the power button. This should work.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Won't start--No Sandisk display.

Download and install the firmware updater.
If that doesn't resolve, your player may really have a hardware issue. The battery is not replaceable by the consumer. My reccomendation is to exchange it with the store. If that fails, redeem your warranty through Sandisk (hope you saved your receipt).

have you tried holding down the power, up volume, and down volume at the same time for 5-10 secs? Sometimes my sansa spazzes out where it wont turn on with the power button and the comp wont recognize the device. Holding those 3 down for about 10 secs resets it.
