Let me add a bit, i wouldn't try to fix this yourself unless you can gaurentee that no grease not even grease from your hands gets into the regulator as it will explode when pressurized oxygen hits it.

What have you done? There are a lot of problems that can be associated with this. My first guess would be the oxygen sensor. Its hard to say for sure as I do not know what type of vehicle you have. But the other things can be mass air flow sensor, fuel pressure regulator, clogged fuel filter, fuel pump going bad, power control module, faulty injectors.
Your first step in diagnosing what is going on would be to check your fuel pressure and see what is going on. After that you can go ahead and check your oxygen sensor. Check the sensor's signal voltmeter reading. An oxygen sensor interprets an increase in oxygen as a fuel lean condition and emits a signal close to 200mV (0.20 V). If the sensor doesn't respond accordingly or takes time to respond, the sensor isn't working properly.

1994 Mercedes S600 right side engine has raw gas smell. Not the oxygen sensor.

I would check the fuel pressure regulator first, pull the vacuum hose off and see if there is fuel in the line,if so the diaphram has ruptured and raw fuel is being sucked into the intake

Have changed to crankshaft sensor the oxygen sensor spark plugs and wire and wont start even when it is turning over

Borrow a fuel pressure tester from Auto Zone and test the fuel system. It could be that you have a bad fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. It also could be a plugged fuel filter.

Have electtric forced air 40.ooo, btu unit. have 10 psi regulator. am useing tank hookup from grill.wont stay lit.

I hope & pray, that the grill tank is not indoors with the heater. In any event, if you're using a grill regulator too, it's not going to provide the 11 to 13 water column inches of pressure that is required for 40,000 BTU's. That's why the heater wont stay lit. Nor, is it going to burn very long, as that grill tank only holds 2 gallons of gas

This is a gas appliance that is safe when installed and operated properly. Don't try to jury rig something that could come back to bite you in the end. Injuring or killing you and your family.

CAUTION Observe all applicable safety precautions when working around fuel. Whenever servicing the fuel system, always work in a well ventilated area. Do not allow fuel spray or vapors to come in contact with a spark or open flame. Keep a dry chemical fire extinguisher near the work area. Always keep fuel in a container specifically designed for fuel storage; also, always properly seal fuel containers to avoid the possibility of fire or explosion.

Maytag Range/Oven Model MGR5770ADQ: Oven burner lights, then flame shrinks and grows erratically - very slow to heat properly.

Hi,
Just inside your range where the gas hooks up oyur will find a gas pressure regulator. The job of this device is to let the gas through to your ange evenly and at the right pressure to keep everything workiing properly. This device is surging, meaning that it is opening and shutting erractically instead of holding a steady pressure for you.
Replace that gas pressure regulator and you will be fine.
