Question about Dell INSPIRON 5000E (969PG) Motherboard
Open the cover of your PC. Find where is the battery installed. Closely observe that near battery, the is a three position jumper. Two positions will the short and one will be open. Usually they are termed as 1 2 and 3. Usually 1 and 2 pins are kept short. Position the jumper to pin 2 and 3 for five minutes then back to 1 and 2. Start the PC. All the CMOS settings including password will be gone. You can set new password and other settings now. :-) (firstname.lastname@example.org)
