The lid switch and the timer may be at fault here as well since replacing the valve didn't work and since it pulses.

The lid switch may be bad so to test it, you will need to open the control panel, and find the harness plug that feeds the lid switch. Disconnect the harness plug. With your Voltmeter/ampmeter/ohmmeter (multimeter, available at Radio Shack or any electronics store) on RX1, probe the terminals on the wires leading to the lid switch. There are three wires; probe the two that are not green. With the lid open, the reading should be infinity and with the lid closed, the reading should be zero. If not, replace the switch.

The timer may be bad, so to test it take the leads off of the timer. Set your Multimeter to RX100. Probe the leads and you should get a reading of 1,100 to 3,000 ohms. If not, replace the timer.

Let me know how this turns out.

HI, first you will need to make sure that the water supply valves are turned on. Inspect the water supply hoses for kinks as well. If the hoses and faucet valve are in good condition, this will confirm a major issue within the Timer control module or control board, depending on which model.

The timer or, control board is the Principal initiator of the filling and draining of the unit. if the timer module or control board is malfunctioning, it will disrupt the normal fill action in this case. the Pulsating and dripping that you sated in your post is a strong indicator of a major control fault(short) within the timer or, control board. check the wiring harness for loose connections at the timer or control board. if the harness is connected properly with no loose connections, replace the timer or control board.

The timer or control board, also, supplies the valve with power as well.

On high pressure it pulsates

First you have to do is try the machine without load. Attach everything as usual but do not attach the lance. Put on machine with water supply already on. If you close the gun the machine should stop. If you open the gun ( always with out lance)....the machine should start sending the water a bit far. If this is OK....then you have a lnance with a faulty, blocked NOZZEL.
NOrmally the machine stops when gun is released because there is a valve (Spill Valve) that actuates a electrical micro switch. This in turn closes off te electric supply...stopping the machine.
If with out lance your problem is still there....then the spill valve is faulty and the machine starts pulsating. AS I first said you must be sure that the nozzel is OK, so that you can blame the Spill Valve. When the spill valve is faulty the machine pulsates at high pressure.
I raely service Spill Valves (Control Valves). I change with a new one. When open the cover using a TORX T15 screw driver....you locate the spill valve where there are 2 wires coming out. Some machines have the spill valve incorporated with the head and the intake and delivery valves unit. This I advize to change with new parts. These all in one heads are very good because at one go you change the spill valve and the other valves in one go.
Therefore in a few words you either have a blocked nozzel...or you have the spill valve faulty.
So I advice again to try the machine with out the lance. If when gun is closed machine stops and stays that way ..it means the spill valve is doing its job. If when putting back the lance and the pressure starts to pulsates...the lance nozzel is faulty and thus causing simptyms on the spill valve. Also try to use machine with a new lance...having a new nozzel.

No water , when running, loud pulsating noise

Usally when there is no water comming in it is the water inlet valve. First turn selector swith to see if it is only hot or cold water that is the problem. Take the hoses off the back of the washer and make sure that when you turn the water on that there is lots of water pressure comming out of the hoses. If ok. its probably the water inlet valve. There are two screws holding the valve from the back. Access the valve. Remove the fill hose from the valve. Remove the four wires off the valve and put on the new valve. Reinstall fill hose and install valve with two self taping screws you took out. Put your hoses back on and your ready to go.

Sound like the inlet valve coil may be shorted. Remove console and check wires from water valve to control. If wires look ok, the inlet valve has a problem

Pulsating water in the hot water cycle

id be curious as to the age of this machine, because the newer models have what teh call adaptive water temp sensors that will optimize the water temp automatically.. your hot water may be "too hot" and your cold can be "too cold" and the valve corrects to a preset temp. this sounds like whats happening

Hot water doesn't work

Disconnect the hot water hose from the washer, put the hose over in the washer and run some water to make sure you don't have a plumbing problem. Look inside the valve where the water connects to the washer, there should be a screen that may need cleaning.

If everything looks and works good to this point then you will need a meter to see if power is getting to the water valve and to check the hot water solenoid on the water valve. No power to the water valve, then replace the water select switch. Bad solenoid, then replace the water valve.

Yes, the only other thing I would do and you may have done this is to put the hose directly over in the washer tub and turn the water on to check the flow. If that's good then replace the water valve.
