I HAVE LOST THE MANUAL. CAN'T FIND A MODEL NUMBER, JUST SAYS BREADMAN ON THE TOP. LOOKS ALOT LIKE 5551C. THE MACHINE ISN'T GOING THROUGH THE RISE CYCLE. IT GETS HOT AND STARTS COOKING.

Howdy Tech Support? I have used the same breadman bread machine every other day for a few years. Today the drive shaft stopped turning with ease. I need to apply approximately 10 -12 pounds of torque to get it to turn. Needless to say this problem is not allowing me to make bread. Will a squirt of lubricant e.g. WD-40 or 3 in 1 work? Or are there other options? I would just shoot the WD-40 from the bottom I but don't know if it will damage rubber gasket. Please advise. usmcian

I just purchased this today, used. Turned on successfully at store and paddle engaged properly. Got it home and now when its plugged in it beeps once with all 0's on the display. The buttons do nothing. Ive already attempted to hold down the start button while plugging it in to reset it and let it sit for over 30 minutes unplugged. If left plugged in it does nothing.

Our Breadman has always worked fine, but the last 3 times we've made white bread, the loaf "looks" OK when you take it out, but the bottom third of the loaf is hollow. Just the crust is intact for the bottom third of the loaf. Some of the inside of the loaf appears to be not quite cooked. We always make the same recipel, and I am certain the ingredients are fresh. The breadman is about 3 years old. What could be the issue?
