what can be done about this because
if i push on it and hold it it makes a fluttering noise but still doesnt turn on!!!

Sounds like a contactor not fully engaging. Go Outside and open the electrical panel to the unit and look at the part. See if it is locking in or just fluttering.

If you have to physically hold it in? Then your coil is bad on the contactor. Need new one. You need to test the compressor ohm it out make sure it is still good. Check your capacitor also. It starts to get a little involved so if you are not real comfortable with this might have to call in a tech. But if you need some help just ask can walk you through this step by step.

The freon pressure might be low or too high, maybe thats why it doesn't turn on.

Loud humming noise from under my Tahoe 2 WD

Is it closer to the back of the vehicle or the front?Possibly the fuel pump. Try opening the gas tank and stick your ear close to the intake of the tank while someone turns the key.

2003 ford expedition rear ac makes noise when engine running and how to remove the cover of the same

What kind of noise is it? If it is a "clicking" noise, a common problem on the Expy, you will need to replace the Blend Door Actuator. This is a small unit on the passenger side, rear. When you take the panel off, turn the key on to make the noise so you can locate it (there are actually 2 units) they have plastic gears that strip out, making the clicking noise. To remove the panel to access, you'll have to carefully pop the panel off and remove a couple of bolts around the seatbelt.

Tempstar a/c condenser screeching noise

Could be the fan motor's bearings. Try turning the fan by hand to see if spins freely or is tight. If it's tight you can try oiling it but that may not work for long.

Need info. on a Tempstar Comfort 2000 unit.

This is a 2 speed condenser fan control board, the tempstar part number is
1086071, if you google tempstar 1086071 you will receive 1 listing for the part for something like 44 bucks, but if you go to sears parts direct and enter the part number they have a factory authorized substitute part number 1088977 that you can order from them for $17.49, some tempstar units were shipped without this control unit and the 2 speed fan just runs off the contactor on high speed only to do that disconnect the control unit and connect the black and orange wires that ran from contactor to the control unit previously together, and then the fan should come on in high speed when the condenser is on. there is a kit that they shipped these control units http://icpindexing.mqgroup.com/documents/086477/48201222001.pdf, (just for you to look at) so all you really need to do is get the new part from sears or run the motor in high and get rid of the part all together, hope this helps.

I think this is a double problem post,so I will answer the top first.
The fan capacitor may be bad or the motor it's self is seizing up and will need replaced.

Second portion of post:
  1. Brown and brown/white go to the new capacitor(If you didn't get a new one with the motor,You will need to)Should be 7.5 mfd
  2. Black To the contactor where the black was originally connected
  3. yellow to the contactor where the red was originally connected

It may have been damaged in shipping or from the manufacturer. I would consider exchanging it for a new one.
