Question about GE Microwave Ovens

Open Question

GE model JVM140G. Bottom lights and exhaust don't work.

GE model JVM140G. Unscrewed the bottom door where the light that shines on the oven is, and found one of the two bulbs broken. (Seperated from the metal base) Replaced the bulb, and now the light and the exhaust fan controls don't work. You can hear the switches work when you press them. I'm looking for a fuse, according to the schematic, not the ceramic fuse. Can't find it.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Can you scan & post that schematic? The parts list shows only one fuse in this unit, and when it blows, then oven will be dead. We see (and repair) this
a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which
    we regularly repair nationwide
by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a
    week or so.

    At
our Web site, you can get details of our
service, plus we have a video
available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

    This light failure often
occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament
shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first
unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a
    failure on the controller.

    The lights can can be
inoperable or stuck on or no bright, too. Sometimes this will similarly
affect the exhaust fan operation or inside light, too.

SOURCE: GE Spacemaker microwave JVM140G just stopped

NO internal fuse. It is most likely, the magnetron, and or High power diode. As related In all likelihood the mangnetron has failed, or perhaps even the Power Supply. or a fault that is shutting the system down for safety reasons You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man. Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one.

The exhaust fan works, the light below the microwave that shines on the stove top works. It appears to be functioning properly except that it won't heat up food. The GE Spacemaker Model JVM131001 is...

I'm all for fixing appliances but in your case I would suggest replacement. After 24 years of service the magnetron is probably only putting out half of its rated wattage. It could also be one of the reasons of the no heat condition.

Hello there:
first you need to remove the screws from the back of the microwave that hold on the casing and there might be some on the bottom too. then remove the outer casing
