TV shuts itself off constantly

Right in the middle of programs, the TV shuts itself off. If I turn it back on, it may play but most of the time, it just shuts off again!!!

I have a 52" Samsung LCD TV almost 1year old. Still under warranty. While I was playing my Wii game system on the TV, it would shut off and then turn back on. Sometimes I couldn't even use the remote to turn it back on. My dealer said to unplug it when I go to bed at night and let it sit. Plug it back in, in the morning and see if it does it again. It works perfectly now. I thought it was the game, but it wasn't. I hope this was helpful. I only had to unplug it that one time, not every night!

An educated guess; this is the reaction of heat sensing elements in the main power supply or a component that has become heat sensitive.
If you can arrange it, park a portable fan to the side of the set, turn it on and see if it makes any difference in the set's behavior. If it does, the diagnosis is likely correct. The supply may not be directly at fault but if present, the temperature sensing has gone bananas. The supply may or may not be an item repairable with Samsung. If you are forced to purchase a new one, don't pitch the original since there are small companies that do repair these for something less than the replacment cost. If you send it in to anyone, make sure you describe the conditions it was causing. This is important then power supplies will often operate without revealing the problem unless appropriate loads are applied to it to recreate operating conditions. I know this after having repaired literally thousands of various power supplies.

My Sansa turns off by itself...Help?

This happens to me to but only when Im listening to a long playlist and I haven't switched anything in a while, but if you go to "settings" and the to "auto shut-off" you can set the time you want it to auto shut off, usually it is on 5mins, so when the 5 minutes are up that you haven't touched it, it will shut off, i belive you sett it all the way up to 125 minutes, hope this helps!
