Hi,
Symptom shows problem either with power supply board or back light inverter board. Please swap these boards to find out defective board in TV.
Power supply board is easy to locate in TV, just follow AC input connector that will take you to that board and back light inverter board is usually located at left side of TV to provide high volts to CCFL mounted in LCD Panel for back light.
Thanks.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My Sharpe Aquos TV screen stays black even when switched on!

Call up Sharp, if you are part of the AQUOS Advantage Program, you get FREE in home service along with the repairs for it.

They'll give you a case number, set you up with a technician and BAM!
I called on a Wednesday and got an appt for that Saturday for the technician to come to my house.

I doubted Sharp alot less after that.

Sharp Aquos LC-32D41U pictures problem

I have had exactly the same problem. Sounds daft but by not using the remote, and only using the power on/off switch on the TV itself, it is working perfectly...no idea why
Use the remore for changing programmes etc but not for on/off
Try it anyway because I know how annoying this is

Sharp Aquos LC-32GD8E-picture goes off at random, sometimes switching it off and on again solves the probelm, sometimes not

I had the same problem with the Sharp Acquos LC-32GD8E. A repair man was able to fix this by opening up the back cover and tightening the metal (ground) shield. the screws seem to have come lose. If I had known this I would have done it myself!

This is most likely has a bad main bd. No discreet component repair with unit. I can't give any information on the boards because this is not a good model # according to my Sharp site.
