Re: winfast k8s755A freezes at startup

Ok I got e-mail from Foxconn and they told me to use a single sided 256 DDR RAM to get past post. So I did, then I wnt to BIOS and set all my settings, saved it restarted turned off the PC then returned my 1GB Ram then all worked just fine. This is an issue coused by haveing a Samptron 64 CPU.

Not picking up video card, or rather losing communications. Use VGA port if available on you card, and make sure monitor is set to same connection port.

GA-7N400 Pro2 at startup i hawe long separate continus beeps

Possibly Ram, try and see if removing and replacing helps
Other causes may be voltage issues ( check the bios and see what the various rails are telling you)
eg: there should be readings for 12 volts 5 volts and 3 volts, if any are + or - by 10%, there is an issue with the voltge controller. You might want to try a replacement PSU?

After this.. bad video ( check by installing a video card)
Temperature warnings ( check in bios to see under PC health status) what the cpu and board temps are running at, if above 70 degrees...overheating issue or more likely at start up, board thinks that the CPU fan is not running fast enough or not working. If fan IS working, you have a problem with the CPU fan sensor, will need to replace mobo

If the cpu was bad- nothing would turn on--be sure the cable is good-- also be sure the VGA is enabled in the bios- since you cant see the video you have to reset the cmos setting--unplug the unit and remove the cmos battery-reinstall after one minute and check for video

Motherboar fail, no video, power supply ok help

Firstly, remove the RAM and turn on the system, if you hear the beep sound continuously that means everything is perfect expect RAM.
Clean the track of RAM at both sides by pencil eraser completely.
Also clean the port of RAM.

Secondly reinstall the CPU with CPU FAN and also clean the FAN.

Third one is that remove all the add-on's card and than turn on the system.

Does your System freezs before booting up? Try setting the BIOS to defalut. There could be a software related problem also. Try reinstalling the windows.Your hardware seems well match for the entire system(Provided all are ok) It was not clear where the system freezs.

Emachines C2825 problem

If you know the motherboard is bad as well, you have two options. You can salvage the existing case and parts, and replace the motherboard and PSU. Plan on spending around $100-150 for both together. This assumes the CPU and RAM are undamaged. The second option is to buy a different "bare-bones" system, and transplant the parts into that one (CD/DVD drive and Hard Drive). Unless you have an exact replacement for the motherboard, you'll probably need to reinstall Windows. The easiest way around this is to install Windows onto a new hard drive, and attach your old hard drive as a "slave" or "secondary". These two options are centered around off-the-shelf parts, rather than buying a "brand X" computer. If you prefer "brand X", which includes an 800 # you can call, look at Dell. eMachines and Dell both produce low-cost low-quality systems, but Dell is better at it. For ideas on parts, look at an online retailer like NewEgg. For compatability, this is mostly a matter of using a tape measure and/or counting pins; they have low prices because they aren't there to hold your hand; if you would feel more comfortable with some hand-holding, which is fine, buy a new "brand X" computer. Lastly, keep in mind, the difference between a $500 computer and a $1500 computer is more than profit margin. If they don't say exactly what a part is, it's whatever was cheapest at the time. A $500 computer may be all you need, but it will have problems like this; whether that's best for you, is for you to decide.
