if crank wont turn starter may be locked in take starter off and try to turn over by hand

they are behind the cam shaft gears you have to remove then and put the car back in time you might want to go down and get a book to show you timing marks

Call the service department and ask them if they know if there is a speed sensor available for the car and where it is located (internally or externally) this may be the problem or the secondary shift solenoid is bad. If you have not gotten any progrees from these strategies I would bring the car to an electrical diagnostic shop if they can trace the problem with the dash lights they may fix the transmission shift issue as well.

There should be plated links on those chains too. There is an index dot in both cams on each head that set at the twelve o'clock position.

I would say thats for you to decide. You got to weight all your options, whats the1300.00 for replacement engine? Or what, if it was up to me i would most likely get a nother car but thats me, you got to do whats best for you and your situation.

Timing is electronic. called a thottle controle module, will make the car do weird things like crank the RPMs up to 5, 6k without you touching the gas.

I have a similar problem. I just replaced the water pump and now the POS wont start. Like it is not getting fuel>
