Head tilts too much

The screws that hold the motor to the support stand have come loose and need to be tightened down or one of the screws has actually broken in the zink metal in which case you will need a new base to repair it. the part can be found for about $50 dollars if you need to replace the bottom of the motor head. Takes about an hour to do and I would recommend a new gasket and new gear grease as long as you are inside. You can find a complete parts list at the kitcheaid site under the service and support tap

Hi, I have a Kitchenaid stand up mixer custom edition 500 watt model #Kd2661xmc that sounds fine when I don't have anything in it, but sounds like its crying when I put just a single cake mix in it. ...

Get A Copy of the Repair Parts List for your model at Kitchenaid.com.
Remove the Gearcase Motor Housing (1) & the Transmission Housing (7)
Remove the 2 screws (23) holding down the Motor (2) and lift off way from
the Worm Gear (17). Test run the motor by itself at different speeds.
If it runs fine then it's time to inspect all the gears in the Transmission
Housing(7). Remove all the brown Grease covering the gears.
Pay attention in particular to the teeth of the Worm Follower Gear (19).
(the Bevel Gear (21) sits on top of this gear)
They should not be worn out or chipped. If they are then this is the source
of the noises you're hearing (the Worm Gear is grinding away the teeth of
the Worm Follower Gear). Once the Follower is replaced, your mixer will
be just as new again.
Please Note that this replacement is not an easy task. You need the right
tools and don't use a hard object like a steel screwdriver to pry out the
Planetary plate (15) from the beater shaft. Before re-assembly, use only
fresh new Food Grade Grease from Kitchenaid (the old grease may contain
metal filings from the worn out gear that will damage your new one)

How do I adjust the tilt function. It seems it is stuck

Tilting on most Monitors is designed to require some force to prevent it from slipping.
Gently yet firmly hold down the base of the monitor on the desk with one hand. Then place a second hand on the bottom of the screen and pull it towards you using even pressure. It will slowly move.
Please also keep in mind that your monitor may not be able to tilt much. If you need it to tilt further, you can buy an alternative stand for it.

How do i remove stand from samsung syncmaster 2333 to mount on wall

its a snap-type plug-in stand, just hold the stand firmly and pull the monitor equally upward, then it will snap quickly....... but a proffessional reminder! Before mounting your SyncMaster on a wall, be sure to plug the two (2) stand holes located at the buttom of the monitor. My Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD LCD TV was twice intruded by adult-size lizard, both incident resulted to main power board damaged!!!!

My monitor still works great and I love it. However, in trying to move the tilt adjustment, the pop-metal tabs that slip into the back of the monitor screen snapped right off. Is there a way to purchase...

I'm pretty sure that these monitors are built/assembled overseas and it would not be worth trying to get buy a new base (if it was available). Your best bet is to have someone build you a new frame to support the monitor in.

Samsung 940MW monitor will not cut on. Green LED flashes only

Most likely it is a set of bad caps on the power board. If you are okay at soldering to do the following with the unit unplugged:
Remove the back cover:
  • Remove the 4 screws that supports the stand and slide it out the bottom.
  • Remove the 3 screws along the bottom of the back plate
  • Use a small flat blade screwdriver or plastic wedge (less risk of damage with wedge) to press on the release tabs around the sides.
  • When removing the cover make note of the antennae connection since you will have to work around this

Remove metal cover over circuit boards:
  • Remove 8 (if I remember correctly)screws securing the metal case. Do not remove the screws securing the LCD panel to the frame

Inspect the power board:
  • Look towards the top of the board for capacitors that have a bulge or brown "gunk" on them. If you have some that are this way this is most likely the problem.
Here's a picture of 4 bad caps on a 940mw. Once I replaced the caps the panel works great and had the same issue as yours.

Tv stand on the wall

It is not made for wall mounting unless it has 4 bolt holes in the back cover. Some wall mounts grip the tv on top and bottom, but they look like hell.

I bought the same Samsung, but took it back.
