When I print bills, it says "4 bills prepared and not printed"?????

When you prepare bills, you can set your options to only print bills that have activity. However, there may be clients in your criteria selection that do not have any new slips to bill, but you may have posted payments. You will not be printing bills for the clients that only have payments but no other activity. Even if you do not print the bill, the program "processes" the clients with the payments, so you will see the "yellow envelope" next to the client payment, even though you are not sendin them a bill

Read the Billing Meter The total number of printed pages can be reviewed at the Printer Control Panel, on the Configuration Page, and in CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS).
Three meters are available:

  • Total Impressions
  • Color Impressions
  • Black Impressions
The billing meter counts the number of pages that were printed properly.
  • 1-sided prints, including N-up, are counted as one impression.
  • 2-sided prints, including N-up, are counted as two.

    NOTE: During 2-sided printing, if an error occurs after one side is printed properly, it is counted as one.
  • Color documents converted using an ICC profile on applications with the Color (Auto) setting can print in color, even if displayed in black and white. The data prints in color even if it seems to be black and white data on the Display Screen. In that case, the number of Color Impressions is increased.

    NOTE: Grayscale images printed with the composite black setting count as color pages because color consumables are used. Composite black is the default setting on most printers.
  • When printing automatic 2-sided printing, a blank page can be inserted automatically depending on the settings in the application. In this case, the blank page is counted as one page.
View the Billing Meters:
IMPORTANT: The Bill Meters track the total number of pages printed for the life of the printer; it cannot be reset.
To view the total number of pages printed:
  1. Press the [System] button on the Control Panel.
  2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until "Billing Meters" is selected, and then press the [OK] button. The Print Volume Report will be printed.
  3. Press the [Down] arrow button to scroll to the required meter. The number of printed pages is displayed below the name.
  4. Press the [Return] button to exit the Billing Meters menu.

You must see the size of paper is the same of the indicated in the printer driver or program.

Printing Service Reports
1. To access Service reports, follow the Entering UI Diagnostics procedure.
2. After entering the Access Number, press the Machine Status button on the Control
Panel.
3. Select the Billing Meter/Print Reports tab on the display.
4. Press the Print Reports/List button.
5. Press the CE button.
6. The following reports can be printed.
• Debug Log Report
• HFSI Report
• Jam Report
• Shutdown Report
• Failure Report
• Protocol Monitor Report
7. Select the required report and press the Start button. The selected report will be printed.

Out of paper clears print que


we need to restart the print spoolers to fix this,
click on start> Run> Type in services.msc. A window will appear with the list of services, there u will find Printer Spooler> Do a Right click on that and Restart it. Do the same thing 2-3 times and then give the command to print multiple documents, to check if the problem is fixed or not. Please let me know the same.

On only one of my bills, the first few pages print okay and then it starts printing blank subsequent pages for several pages, and then completes the bill. The rest of the bills print okay.


First Thing I would do is check peachtree for any critical updates to the program.

It sounds as if there are some unprintable characters somehow stored in one of the fields that print out, causing the printer to think it has received a "page eject" command. Is it too much trouble to re-create the record (ie. delete and re-create) for this bill? Odds are this will solve the problem.

My printer isn't printing


ok i suppose it printed before and i suppose you have the ink and paper in it ok the printer is in standby mode in the print que soclick the print que button on the tray start printing click start printing in the taskbar and never pusg print 2 0r3 times or more then pages in you que become ready to print if not start printing in the print ques turn off the printer unplug it wait for 30 seconds restart pc then the print que is empty

Have you reset the ink levels for your printer? Some printer software refers to it as that others ask if you have installed a new cartridge.

 

Do maintenance on the printer, such as clean heads, print test page, head alingment, etc and see if that fixes it. You can get to all these options through properties

what driver and software are you using? it sounds like you are printing with a driver that is set to A4/letter, change the paper size to roll.
