Quick release bike tire installation

the pads don't need to be removed. Most brakes have a "quick release" on them. On linear pull brakes, use one hand to squeeze the two lever against the rim and with your other hand you can pull the "L" shaped cable noodle out the bracket and this releases the brakes. (you can also let the air out of the tire and install the wheel then reinflate the tire once you have it back on the bike). On road bikes with side-pull brakes most have a small lever you can flip up that activates a cam mechanism that opens the brakes up to allow the tire to pass through. Canti-lever brakes are similar to linear-pull brakes, just squeeze the brakes together and release the straddle cable. Hope this helps.

I have a Schwinn Ditch mountain bike with front disc brakes and a quick release front tire. I pooped the tire off using the quick release on the hub and the tire simply slipped off and out of the disc...

You have to bleed the break fluid on your break and press the pads on both sides then insert the disc. When you bleed the break fluid do not press the lever.

I have an otero mongoose bike how do i take the front tire off

The front wheel is removed by releasing the quick release located at the bottom of the fork. The tire can be removed by deflating the tire and then levering off the tire itself using a set of special removal tools.

How do you change a innertube on a back wheel of a mountain bike

You have to remove the entire wheel from the bike. Then change it just like you'd change a front tire... remove oneside of the tire from the rim, pull out bad tube, clean rim, put in new tube, put tire back on rim, inflat tube... good to go. There are 1,000,000 videos on YouTube to show you this process.

Removing front wheel from harley davidson heritage softail

first take off the brake caliper takes a 10 mm socket..Next jack front of bike up just enough to take pressure off front tire...take off the axle nut lbit more to take pressure off axleock washer and flat washer...Next remove two axle support nuts from the right side of bike 1/2 in socket. now jack bike up a hair more to releave pressure off axle push, hammer with a rubber hammer or what ever it takes to drive it through. jack bike up so it clears fender. Sometimes the tire won't clear the fender bolts if so just release air from tire and it will clear. good luck. Its not hare at all.
