Try adjusting the "closed switch" forward a little in case the door is going too far when trying to close.

Reprogram the door opener.

Check your door sensors.

The 2 flash sequence is the code for:

Safety reversing sensors wire shorted or black/white wire reversed.

Make sure the door sensors are pointed at one another. Tweak them if necessary.

Check up by the motor. There should be a latch you can pull down that will disengage the chain from the door. After that, just pull the door up or down as needed.

you did not give enough info. If it closes completely and right away goes up, if bulb blinking. if it is, something on door is blocking safety beam. If light is not blinking, DECREASE down travel.

I called Sears garage door customer service number due to the same issue. The test is to disengage the opener drive by pulling the emergency disengage handle, then open the door half way manually and then let it go. If it stays there it is a door/track/lub problem; if it drops down and closes its a garage door opener problem. Mine stayed open half way during this test so it was a door/track/lub problem. After using silicone spray on all tracks, rollers, and springs mine has been working great. Good luck.........

TRY THE DOOR MANUALLY AND MAKE SURE IT WORKS SMOOTHLY.
