I have a Toshiba 52HMX94 rear projection T.V., i've had it for 4 years, replacing bulb every year. I now have another new bulb, but when I turn on the T.V. i hear a buzzing noise from the rear, and then never get a picture. It then turns itself off and on 8 times and stops then the red and green light just blinks. I never get a picture. Please help! It is not the bulb

Hi, Your TV requires ballast power supply board that gives you buzzing noise when TV turns ON. Ballast supply board is available in Part Store and replacement of that board requires expertise.

Yuor covergence board is bad and you need to have a tech replace the convergence IC's on the board and bad electrolytic caps, or buy a new one at www.partstore.com
You've got to replace the bulb. I've had my KF-50WE610 for four years. Mine just went out again too. This is the third bulb in four years. The bulbs are expensive too - $100 -$200 each

I had the same issue with my 57 in. Mitsubishi. I fixed it by buying a new projection bulb. The Mitsubishi manual indicated this was the fix for my Mitsubishi TV. Be advised that new projection bulbs are not inexpensive. My TV works like new once the projection bulb was replaced.
No it your lamp has failed this time. Replace it and you should be enjoying ur television again.
The pop sound was the lamp shattering in its housing, does'nt get into the television tho. You can save money by just buying the bulb and installing it into your original lamp housing.
