Hello, reading between the lines I'm going to assume you have a gas dryer. This problem is going to be your sattey valve coils...basically they get old and over time of heating then cooling develop a short when they heat up...It may appear the gas lights to start but then goes out until the safety valve coils cool back down. Here is a picture of the coils dryer will not dry on - 57d5263.jpgThis should solve your problem. Hope this helps, Please feel free to comment again if you have any further questions or concerns. Good Luck!

it is over heating you might have unplugged a wire to the thermostat when you had it apart or the thermostat has went out.

No Heat- Dryer will not dry clothes, the pilot light will light for a few seconds with a glow. I have changed the coils and the thermal fuse. Don't know what else to try.

Hi, If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly. if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip.... If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat. check outthis electric no heat tip...

Dryer making clicking noise when running. Heat no longer working. Gets "stuck" in a cycle continues running and dial not moving.

Based on symptoms, this is a gas dryer. The clicking that you hear is the solenoid opening so that gas can flow and be lit. Except that gas isn't flowing, or the igniter is burned out (if or pilot is blown out if so equipped).

It is normal for the dial not to move unless it is in a timed dry mode (like air or freshen mode) because the moisture level of the clothes is not changing.

Dryer flame on magtag wont stay lit. Pilot flares up but no flame

Thermocouple is probably bad. The pilot burns and heats a sensor which tells the CPU that the Flame can start, and the thermocouple heating up changes voltage with increase temperature and tells the CPU that the Flame is burning OK. If it is defective, there is no voltage change and the CPU assumes that the Flame didn't start for some reason, (Gas only!) and turns if off for safety. Over and over xx times.
