Question about Lands Phones
I have a Meridian M7208 and I can't seem to get the beep that the person on the other end of the line hears when on hold. Any suggestions?
And to think, most people want that tone gone!
It comes from system programming. When the phones were installed, the initial program was set up for no noise, tones, or Music. It's changeable from at least the installer's area, and it may be accessable from anywhere because you may be talking 308/616/824 system which has no password levels for that programming.
Check for a system guide to programming. If you can't find one, check for a system model number. IF YOU HAVE A CUTE CARD STICKING OUT OF THE TOP, DO NOT REMOVE IT. Your system may be old enough that it will disable the system. There will be warning signs ot the card anyway, but believe them, please.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
