How to replace ice dispenser lever on lg

face plate removal should have some small pry points to remove the face plate, then there will be some screws, then you can see the microswitch, it should have a plastic leg that is from the dispenser to the switch, it will be broken off, or the mounting pegs for the switch(plastic dowels are broken) they become brittle after some time, remove the pin, drill a small hole and secure the microswitch to the spot where the peg broke off using a screw and nut .

86 ford f-250 460 stick shift where is the fuel pump located at? how do i get it out and replace the fuel pump?

Hello, The fuel pump should be on the front lower block on the Drivers side. Sometimes it is easier to work underneath the truck where the bolts are. If you have a stone shield it will be easier if you take it off.

The pump will unbolt. Take off your fuellines before loosening the pump. The fuel pump has a lever which you will see on the new pump. A cam rotates and presses on the lever to push or make a stroke. When you are pulling off the pump, if the pump seems to raise up while you are unbolting it there is a trick to making this easier.

You need to rotate the engine, either with a socket on the crankbolt and breaker bar, or bump the starter. There is a dead spot on the operating cam that will release the spring tension. Just turn the motor to that spot and the fuel pump will practically fall out when you unbolt it. Use a good quality gasket on the replacement.

I hope my solution is very helpful to you.

How do i lock the shaft on the motor so i can put the blade in my Black and decker 18V 6-1/2-in Cordless Circular Saw - BDCS1806

Almost all circular saws have a button or lever you push in to lock the motor shaft. You will have to hold that button or lever in while you turn the shaft, there will be one certain spot where it will lock.

On a 1987 honda crx carbrated is there a certain postion the cam has to be in for the manual fuel pump to pump right?

hello
joel mitchell here

the best spot to start is at top dead center.

there is a spot on the fuel pump lever that has the contact area.
that side has to be put in the hole in away that inserts down and under the lobe that pushs that pump lever up and down.

hold the pump in your hand and and push the lever with your other hand to see how hard it will be .

you may have to put it in , in a way that you have to musle the pump and the lever to install the holddown bolts.

if its to hard then turn the engine over a little untill the point that the lever is in the easyest position for you to install the hold down bolts.

if the lever going into the engine dosent seem to be riding on the lobe then it is being put in wrong.

the lever has to ride on that offset lobe inside the engine all the time with no slack or slap or gaps.

the lobe is offset and will work the pump lever up and down to work the pump.

hope some of this helps

sincerely
jm

This unit has a lock nut on the cam actuation of the height adjustment. Loosen the locknut a touch at a time to get the right feel you are lookin for.

How do you set the timing chain on a 2006 yamaha yfz 450

1st set piston at top dead center, which is the top of its travel. after you have verified top dead center, and you are 100% sure its at top dead, install the cams. first the exhaust cam, with you facing the sprockets, with the cam lobes facing up and away, about the 10 o clock position. once set there, you should see a refrence on the sprocket, with lines that will be parallel with the cyl. head surface. then install the intake cam, with lobes facing in the 2 o clock position. once again, you will see refrence marks on the cam sprocket that should be level with the cyl. head surface. after the cam caps are installed, and the cam chain tensioner, turn the engine with the flywheel bolt to verify you have no piston valve contact. after you turn over a few times, recheck timing.

Where is the IR sensor on a Bose 3-2-1 Series II?

I believe I've found the IR sensor. By shining a flash light on the various parts of the normally opaque shield over the front of the Bose, I was able to spot what I believe to be the sensor on the extreme right end of the shield, vertically centered. Later today I hope to verify this by connecting everything and using the remote through the Xantech. If it turns out that I'm wrong, I'll post again.
