How long is it safe to pause a Samsung smart tv for. My husband says I will ruin it by pausing it

Your TV might of had stopped working and has died on you and you should by a new TV than to try and fix the TV that is broken.

Sounds like u have an input selection problem. Find the source or input button on the remote and click through them one at a time, pausing at least 20 seconds on each. Do, of course be sure you have something connected that's a working input device.

This is caused by what we call "Buffering" that means the signal is not transmitting data fast enough for continuous playback of video.

Screen burn is only a problem on PLASMA TV's not LCD or LED ones.

I have seen freeze frame but I do not have a clue as how to stop a live tv show, that is saying everything stops on the show until you release it. Some TVs can buffer the show but then it is no longer live. That is what the DVR is for.

Did they work before? For example, I bought my son a Samsung TV and the remote had rewind, pause etc. on the remote but they did not work. This is because the smart TV did not record the live image to allow this feature as it did not have any built in hard drive and I had to add a memory stick or hard drive into the USB port on the TV to allow the rewind, record and pause to work.

You're reply referred to the Epson Printer On my HP Photo Smart 1215/1115 Printer I went to START then in the window I went to Faxes and Printers then in a new window I found RESUME PRINTING!! It changed Pause to Active.
