Question about Uniden DECT 6.0 Cordless Telephone Expansion Handset
Since you neglected to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 system I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual and read the remote access instructions.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

for the "Owners Manual" for the "DECT1060-2".
Check the bottom of your base-unit for your model-number.
Use the "search" function on the above web-page to find the web-page for your model.
Then, click the link to download the "Owner Manual", and read the pages on "Remote Access".

The default security code is "80". If you have not reset that code, you will use 80.
This is all from the manual:
1) Call your telephone number and wait for the system to answer. If the answering system is off, it will answer after about ten rings and sounds a series of beeps.
2) During the greeting or the beeps (if answering system is off), press 0 (zero) and enter your security code within 2 seconds.
3) The answering system announces the current time and the number of messages stored in memory. You hear "To play incoming messages, press zero-two. For help, press one-zero" followed by a beep.
Then the manual lists all the remote commands. If you need those, you can go to uniden.com and download a manual.

While the message is playing, click the top button, the one with the circle with a line thru it. That will delete the playing message. If you wish to delete all messages, click the top button when all messages have played, then click once again when the prompt says "delete all?"

Here is how to kill two birds with one stone.
That is the page for Uniden DECT phones. www.uniden.com.
There are 6 pages to flip through and all you need to do is look at the picture for you phone. Click on it and it takes you to the phones page. On the upper right sid there is a link to download the owners manual in pdf form. Unfortunetly I can't tell your model from the information so I can't tell you the page or how to do it. Hopefully the manual will get you sorted out.
