Question about Heating & Cooling
1994 Setra (Mercedes Benz) 217
Great A/C Blows 67 Degrees in the parking lot, very nice.
But when driving temp slowly goes up to whatever it is outside.
Replaced A/C Clutch, Removed/Replaced Freon, Belts are New,
Maybe a problem with ventalation system????
Please help if anyone has a suggestion.
Depending on the year, if you have an older system, you should get about 29° at the vent and with a newer car, you should get about 50°. If you don't get as much cold air when you're moving, shut the recirculator. Cooling inside air is easier than cooling outside air. If the air inside the car is 75° and you're trying for 70°, you only have to cool it 5°. If the ooutside air is 90°, you have to cool it 20°.
