1994 Setra (Mercedes Benz) 217

Great A/C Blows 67 Degrees in the parking lot, very nice.

But when driving temp slowly goes up to whatever it is outside.

Depending on the year, if you have an older system, you should get about 29° at the vent and with a newer car, you should get about 50°. If you don't get as much cold air when you're moving, shut the recirculator. Cooling inside air is easier than cooling outside air. If the air inside the car is 75° and you're trying for 70°, you only have to cool it 5°. If the ooutside air is 90°, you have to cool it 20°.

the blend door could be open a bit or half way, meaning it is not closing the hot air. you have hot air and cold air at the same time.

My clk200 convertable is contantly showing a temperature of 70 degrees or above and the heater either blows red hot or stone cold with nothing in between. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be

I'VE OWNED SEVERAL MERCEDES BENZ CARS AND IMHO THEY ARE THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD. DO YOU HAVE HVAC AKA AUTO CLIMATE CONTROL? IS SO SET THE TEMP A BIT LOWER. ONE FEATURE ON THIS SYSTEM IS IT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN. THERE IS PROBABLY NOTHING WRONG, BUT ONE OF MY BENZ CARS WAS SO HOT I SET THE TEMP AT 65 DEGREES AND IT WAS COMFORTABLE. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THE HEATER DOORS ARE NOT OPENING CORRECTLY OR THE CABIN FILTER HAS NOT BE CHANGED IN A WHILE.
