6 or 7 flashes means a power faillure in them (cheap) capcitors Philips used on the plasma-chassis. Open the back of that unit en locate the Power Driver Board(it's the biggest part) than locate the two CAP's valued 3300uF 10V +105*C (they may look damaged/cracked/black stuff oozing out)
Replace them with these two super CAP's(10000h):
Digi-Key Part Number P13117-ND
you need an steady hand on this job and the right tools, or go out to your local electronic-shop and make them do this for you.

Did you replaced the caps correct? ( + tot + and - to - )
Check if the removed cables were placed back correct.
