hello my tv was given to me .but the colors are messed up.it works nice and clear for 30 seconds.then it has double of everything the wording and the peoples faces are not clear at all.The colors creates a rainbow around people and printed words

i have a ge too, don't really know the model number. we just bought the 52inch tv from my cousin. we turn it on and the color is fine for about 30sec to a min, then it gets really messed up. you can't read anything because the words will have two different colors and everything. you can harldy watch it anymore. it's like to color is offline. can anyone please tell me how to fix this.

WizYOU HAVE A BAD CONVERGENCE IC OR LOOSE CONNECTIONS GOING TO THE IC....THIS PART IS ON A CONV. CIRCUIT BOARD AND CAN BE REPLACED ,,INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE WHOLE CIRCUIT BOARD--SAVE SOME BUCKS...U WILL NEED TECH FOR THIS REPAIR--PRICE USUALLY 100.00 TO 125.00 RANGE..GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
