When I double click on the control panel the computer automatically shuts off.

Try right clicking and then open, I also recommend downloading a free registry cleaner such as Glary Utilities you can get if free from glaryutilities.org
This program also optimizes your pc, boost memory, has much much more!
I recommend it to everyone. I've used it for 4 years now with great success.

I am thinking there may be an error in the registry. You can also go to start menu, search, and then search which program you where looking for.

Last option possibilites is windows needs to be reinstalled.

But I would download and clean registry, and also get Avast security and scan your entire system for viruses, trojans, spwyare, addware, malware.

There is no sound drivers


The first thing to do would be to go into the device manager and make sure your drivers are installed.

1. Click Start.
2. Click on Accessories.
3. Click on System Tools.
4. Click on Control Panel.
5. In the control panel click on Device Manager.
6. In the device manager, click on Sound, Video and Game Controllers.
7. This area should have your sound hardware.
8. Double click your hardware and go to the Drivers panel.
9. Under the drivers panel click on Update Driver.
10. Click Search Automatically, and your computer will search online and in the system to find a compatible driver.
11. When the computer finds the correct driver, It will install it automatically.
12. Once the installation is done, check to see that you have have sound again.

When i shut it down it wont completly shut off it just keeps saying shutting down


Try this To end processes automatically at shutdown -

1. Open Regedit and navigate to HK_Users\.Default\Control Panel\Desktop

2. Double-click on AutoEndTasks

3. Change the value from 0 to 1

4. Reboot your machine

Now hung processes will end automatically when you try to shutdown or reboot your machine.

To start and stop the print spooler
  1. Open Computer Management.
  2. In the console tree, click Services.
    Where?
    • Computer Management/Services and Applications/Services
  3. In the details pane, double-click Print Spooler.
  4. Do one of the following depending on the task you want to do:
    Click Stop to stop the service.
    Click Start to start the service.
Notes
  • To open Computer Management, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
  • When you stop the Print Spooler service, it might stop other dependent services.
  • The print spooler runs under the Local Computer system account by default.

Unable to connect to wireless internet


You may need to start the wirless zero configrations...

you havnt mentioned your OS..

any ways here is the way to turn it on...


for WIN XP

Windows XP Windows XP users must have Service Pack 2 installed to activate the Wireless Zero Configuration. ( How do I check that? )
  • Go to Start and Control Panel
  • Click on Administrative Tools and Services
  • In the Services box scroll down the list of Services (Local) until you find the one labelled Wireless Zero Configuration and double click it.
  • In the Wireless Zero Configuration Properties (Local Computer) box change the Startup type to Automatic
  • Click on Start and once the service has started click on OK
  • Now find the service labelled WLAN AutoConfig and double click on it
  • In the WLAN AutoConfig Properties (Local Computer) box change the Startup type to Automatic
  • Click on Start and once the service has started click on OK
  • Go to File and Exit to close the Services window

Windows Vista

To start Wireless Zero Configuration in Windows Vista you need to log in as an Administrator.
  • Click on Start and Control Panel
  • Select Administrative Tools and then Services
