use windows media player to rip songs from cds. then just copy the songs manualy or use the software that came with your mp3 player

Hi Dale,

What you need is a CD Ripper or programs that converts a CD audio to either wave or MP3 file that eventually can be saved to your PC or transferred thereafter to your MP3 player.

An example is SmartSoft CD Ripper or you may want to try CD Ripper. Here is is a good explanation of what "ripping" is all about.
