The Err0 that your scale is displaying is an Initialization error. Please follow these steps to ensure that you are initializing the scale properly:
1) Place the scale on a hard surface floor.
2) With one foot only, place just enough weight on the scale for the
display shows zero's or dashes. Once you see zeros or dashes remove
your foot.
3) Wait for the scale to turn off again.
4) Step up onto the scale for a weight.
If taking these steps does not fix the Err0 display then you can do one of two things. Since you just purchased the scale you may want to take it back to the place you purchased it from and either exchange it or get your money back to purchase a different unit or model number. You can also contact Taylor USA'a support group and have them advise you on any further steps to try and take. You can call them at 866-843-3905, or you can go to the following website:
