It appears that you can from what could gather----you should have a schematic on the inside of the wiring cover on the motor---you should have a professional electrician do this for you to save your life.---make sure it's unplugged when and if you do this and follow the instructions "explicitly" but you will have to have a new wiring 4 wire lead for 240 Vt ---240 Vt plug and a 240 Vt receptical and 240 Vt--- 4 wire circuit with 240 breaker---it's not a walk in the park---have a professional electrician do this for you

How to bypass thermal circuit breaker switch on Hitachi c10fl table saw

You bypass the breaker in question by connecting the saw to an outlet connected to a different breaker; or by swapping two breakers out and see if the problem moves to the other circuit.

On my fathers c10fl table saw the thermal breaker constantly trips, even under light loads. The saw is only 3 years old and has rarely been used. I have it plugged in directly to a 110/120 volt, 20 amp...

As a Contractor I always bypassed the on board breaker switch cause i found them to be a pain and always trippin. If you are concerned about burning up the motor i would just install an inline breaker like a GFI outlet. Please give a 4 thumbs up if you have found this free answer helpful. Good Luck and have a Great Day.
