Question about Frigidaire fes365e Electric Kitchen Range
We have a Frigidaire Gallery range - 11 years old. A breaker blew when set to self clean and the lower element would not heat.
We tested the lower element and it is not broken. The problem appears to be a "coil" on the circuit board that sends current to the lower element. Question: Can the "coil" piece on the circuit board be replaced or will it be necessary to replace the whole board?
Thanks for any help you can give.
Does the element have continuity??Did you do an amp reading with the element connected?? Do you have voltage at the element terminals??If you have voltage at the element and you don't read amps when unit is on then it's the element. If it's the coil? The board should be replaced.Local appliance store may have it or can order it.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Pamela, thanks for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire range had an issue when it was in self-cleaning mode. It sounds like your thermostat or control panel may need to be replaced. I would suggest seeking help from a professional technician this will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases or improper disassembly of your range. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. -Matt
