You can print save as a HTML File, most printers defaults print save as PDF files, Since PDF files are none editable you will not be able to convert this into a HTML file.

Scan a document into Word

Hello

Notepad uses the file extension ".txt"

You can open this file in Word and then choose "Save As" and change it to the Word format (.doc or .docx).

I would assume the scanning feature is using OCR (optical character recognition) and, after the scan, the default is to save it in a .txt format so it will open in almost any computer.

You can set your computer to use Word to open .TXT files automatically. You would still have to choose the "Save As" and change the format to Word before you can make meaningful editing changes (elaborate fonts, stationary, etc.) as .TXT files have only the most basic formatting available.

Scan document save as word file

You cannot save a scanned document as a Word document.
You need to save it as a jpg image file first and the use a image to text/word conversion program to make a word document.

lift the lid on your scanner lay the photo face down then select scan document/photo it will ask what format you want to scan it then it will ask where you want to save it browse select the file/folder where you want to save it (my pictures) most common

Hi I want to scan a document and have it be saved on my computer as a word document, not pdf. Does this printer do that?

Take a look at this link:

It appears that your MFP cannot directly scan to a Word document, but with the professional version of the software, you may be able to import the scanned text into Word and then format it from there.

To scan a documents in jpeg format, use the scanner icon in the control panel of your system. Insert your document in scanner bed then double click the scanners & cameras icon in the Control Panel.

To scan a documents and save in pdf format. just press the Scan button in the printer and save the documents in your computer once the scan window appear.

Scanner can't locate designated file when trying to SAVE

you need to have a selected file where all you scanned items are going to be saved at. if the destination doesnt accept the type of format of the document you are scanning it wont allow it...e.g JPEG to txt file.
