see, you have inserted the paper well. if not solved, your catridge have low ink or empty. so bring a new catridge or if you can, refill the catridge. 1610 catridge can be easily refilled.

I'm not sure what is going on with my printer, everytime I try to print, the printing papers are stuck under the catridges and the catridges cease to move back to their place i.e right side and instead...

Possibly a small amount of dirt (or bit of paper ) is jamming the paper path.
Open all covers and check the rollers are clear, if possible turn them by hand to check.

Paper has jammed rinter

paper jam is of two types.1.while spolling half paper will come out tom tray.remain jammed in rollers. This can solve by switching the printer power off and remove toner catridge from printer. Then power on the printer.lift the top rollers cover and reset as it is.The paper will come out without any difficult.2.Paper jam inside the toner catridge by rolling itself to drum.Switch off the printer power.Remove toner catridge from priter.Unscrew the toner catridge cover screws.remove drum from toner catridge .Utmost care should be taken while removing jammed paper from drum.Reassemble as it is and set.

How do I clear an error code 1203 on a DELL 926 printer?

It's mean your catridges overflow even from brand new catridges after a several prints or right after you refilled the catridges. Check to see if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the catridge. I have the same problem which I think lexmark have a proble and overlook.

Solution:
I use the klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and my printer work again.
The refill ink work very well if you let it sit 24 hrs. Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.

Paper jammed. Once pulled free and clear, it

if you pulled the paper out of a jam and it was not done correclty
5100 is a Carriage Home Position Error.
try cleaning the plastic strip that runs the length of the carriage, it may be contaminated.
Use alcohol and a swab.
Check the lever for the catridge. sometime the catridge does sit properly in the carriage and it will hitt the side of the front cover when it moves. Push the catridge in place to try solve the problem.

To reset the error code, disconnect the power cord from the wall. Also remove the power brick from the back of the printer for 60 seconds. Then connect everything again.

Hope this helps

Catridge jammed

check to make sure there is nothing obstructing the carriage and the paper feed area, sometimes things can get in there mysteriously :) I have found all kinds of things, there could also be a small bit of paper jammed up in there keeping things from operating smoothly.

Jammed paper

jacquie,

one day I had similar problem. Just after changing black catridge, printer shows me jammed messeage.

I was almost crazy!! of course there's no paper jam!!

However, ... I found 1 big roache.. .. deep in the printer..
after remove that with thick paper, jam meesage has gone.

So, I suggest you do the everything in manual you can do when the message come up, if not solved, use thick paper such as broshure..(right?) and put it strongly into the paper tray.

good luck.
