Question about Jandy Laars Lite2 Pool & Spa Heater - Electronic Dual Ignition - 125,000 BT
We just purchased the lite2 a week ago and it is doing the same thing. We found out by accident that the gas pressure is too high. The cap was off the drip leg and the heater lit and stayed on. If you turn down the regulator to 2 it will continue to run. However it will take forever to heat up. Our technician is still trying to get a hold of Jandy tecnical but it's a min of a 30 min wait time. It seem that the FL2 problem is common with the Lite 2. Once we find the problem or if anyone else hears of a solution it will be posted.
If your persure is to high you are probally running propane in a natural gas heater. If this is a new heater take it back and get a new L.P. verson if not they make a conversion kit with new gas orfaces for the burner and a new gas block for the gas valve. if your tech dosen't know this get a new tech, this is a box full of fire next to your hause. Don't save money on the tech it can cost to much!
