Question about Belkin Computers & Internet
It''s likely tha tthe hotel used the same subnet as your home network but has a different address for the router. This will fix itself once the DHCP lease expires but can be dealt with more quickly by doing the following:
1. Open a DOS command prompt window. If you use Vista, be sure to right click before opening and select "Run as Administrator".
2. Type "ipconfig /release" and then hit return. Wait for the prompt to return, it may be a minute or two.
3. Type "ipconfig /renew" and then hit reutrn. Once you get the prompt back you should be in good shape.
