Question about Samsung Cell Phones

I changed sim card, now they both display ''Insert SIM''

I'm using a Samsung phone and I'm with Tesco Mobile, I took out my Tesco Mobile SIM and inserted a different one, this SIM worked, then when I tried to put my old one back in, the phone read ''Insert SIM'' it does this now with both SIM cards, so neither will now work!
Please help!

Try taking out both cards and popping the battery on the phone.

Wait a few minutes and then turn the phone on with no card in it.

Turn it back off when it says no card found and insert the newer card and power it back up.

It seemed to keep a memory of the blank card.

What is your problem with your Sim card? Is your phone shows the "No Sim" or "Insert Sim" or "Sim Rejected" or "Invalid Sim" error? If it is so i am here to help you. If your Samsung shows the "No Sim" or "Insert Sim" error then remove your Sim from your mobile and place it again correctly. If your mobile shows the error message "Invalid Sim" or "Sim Rejected" the your phone is locked to a particular network. To fix this problem you need to unlock it. Use unlock code to unlock your Samsung B5310. To get the code you have to submit network provider, country and IMEI number of the mobile. Make sure yourself whether you have knew the network provider to which your mobile is locked, country to which the locked network belongs to and IMEI number of your mobile. If not you can find the IMEI number in two ways:
1)Go to Options>status
2)Find IMEI on the back of your mobile, behind the battery.
3)Type *#06# and press call button. It will display your IMEI number.
You can find the network provider to which your mobile is currently locked by switch off your mobile and switch on it again. A logo of the locked network will get displayed on your mobile screen. Model Samsung SGH-M150 phone is locked (tried new sim card - sim card ok) Been give unlock code by Tesco mobile - doesn't work.


You must unlock your phone using samsung sgh-m150 unlock code for tesco network. This code can you get from tesco or you can buy from third party sites, but don't try to use free samsung unlock code from internet since most of them is a fake code and it will not work on your phone.

Every sim i insert in my phone just says insert sim??? im on tesco..


It may be due to network lock,

Hi, when a phone displays an insert sim message, it means that either the Sim card or the Sim tray where the sim card is inserted in the phone.

First, You can use the sim card on another phone to be sure that the sim card is still working properly. If the sim works with another phone, that means the sim tray where the sim card is being insert into the phone is bad and will need to be replaced.

If the display says "Insert SIM," it means that the phone has no contact with your subscription card (SIM card) that is inserted in the phone. We recommend that you remove the battery and the SIM card, and clean the connectors on the SIM card and the phone with a soft brush, cloth or Q-tip moistened with any type of unflavored colorless alcohol.
At the same time, check that the card is not damaged or worn in any way, in that case, the connector may not align with the connector in the phone. Please contact your operator / carrier for a new SIM card.
