Please can you tell me exactly what to do in order to get my lexmark z645 installed on my HP with vista laptop. I have no ideaa what the process is and cannot find the disc

I do not have the disk but i do have several links here that you can get the download from i would suggest that if they offer you the full suite use it it gives you a lot more features to use with this printer ok just look at the links below I hope this is very helpful

Hi,

Just run the CD and an installation wizard should pop up. Just follow the on screen instructions.

if its a usb printer make sure it is plugged in to laptop and turned on, vista should recognise its there and make sure it has the right driver automatically, hope this helps you.

Copy and paste the link above into your browser address spot and click to go.

Once it is open.

Scroll down 
and
 you will see the list of Lexmark Z645 supported OS.

Click the right Operating Software (Windows XP, Vista, 2000, Server)

Click and you will be refered to the page where you will click to download the driver and then install.

If this is a newer printer that can use a USB cable, then you want to boot up the laptop, If you arte running XP or Vista, make sure you have admin rights. Install software with the printer disconnected from computer. Once install is either completed or asks for printer connection, power on printer, wait a few moments, then attach the USB cable top a poert on laptop. Install should continue, and you should be good to go.

Unplug usb, delete old install, delete downloaded file, redownload file, run file, connnect USB when prompted.

delete printer default and run add printer wizard
