How to fix the spin lock

Slim chance are that the motor winding is broken, electric motor capacitor is dry or the control module is defected.
I would first make sure that the water level in the drum is below the level that will stop spinning from taking place.

If water level is high, check your filter and pump cover. make sure that no coins or other items are not blocking the pump.

If water level is low, you need to check your pressure switch (connected with a rubber tube to the bottom of the drum).

Good luck.

Dr-40 stops recording after 5 seconds

Check if your DR-40 has auto-rec turned on. If so, it will only record once a certain input level is present, and will stop if the input goes below that level. The recorder will turn back in when that level is exceeded again.

Model md200tbe shuts off, pilot and burner

1) Try blowing it out with a hair dryer. Dust does lots of weird things to gas heaters.

2) There is a thermocouple that opens when it is hot and makes the gas keep flowing. It is a small metal tube that sits directly in the flame. When it heats up, the gas flows. If that is shot, then it won't keep the gas flowing, so it will turn off when you let go of the button. Try tapping it lightly with the tip of a screwdriver to knock it loose. There is about a 10% chance that this might fix it temporarily until you can get a new one.

Lg washer wm2077cw had le error and did not work, blew in to tubing connecting tub to a sensor at top and now my reading went from 230 to 256. washer wont stop filling , leaks out front door. what is wrong...

When you blew into the tubing, you destroyed the water level sensor. You will need to change the water level sensor to stop the unit from over filling. That part number is 6601ER1006E. As for the LE error code, you one of 2 things go bad. Either the motor sensor has failed or the control board has failed. Chances are the motor sensor has failed and is the cheaper part to replace. The part number for that is 6501KW2002A

When washing machine fills with water to rinse, the water does not cut off.

Easy fix. No parts needed. All washers have a water level switch of some sort.
themobilian_2034.jpg
Each switch has a small rubber tube attached to it. The tubing goes down under to the base of the tub. As the water level rises the pressure builds inside that tubing. When the desired level is reached the switch kills the water works and starts the motor works. Off she goes a washing. What you must do is find the water level switch and remove that hose. Blow out the sediment in the base of the tub and reattach that hose securely. Then pump out the water in the tub so that the pressure can have a chance to build in that tubing. Retry and party on!

Probably going to cost more than a new one is worth, and then you have still got a "Fixed" unit & in my experience once things start to fail there often is a domino effect. Still if you can get a free "Quote" for a fix, get one and see?

Kenmore 90 series top loader washer water level.

There are easy checks before you replace the level selector body

remove the trim plates at both ends of the control panel to expose Phillips head screws 1 at each end. remove the screws
lift and swing the control panel up and over the back, it is hinged at the top.
The washer can be operated in this condition for testing

1 Rremove the air hose, and blow it out.
often water remains in the tube after changing levels, the water is not compressible so a small change in water level in the tank, makes too much difference in the sensor.
reconnect the tube and try a cycle ~1/3 chance of fixing it

If fail,
2 The spring inside Kenmore water level sensors that reacts to air pressure in the tube is not up to the job and stretches, not noticeable till changing water level settings moves the anchor point of the spring.
pull off water level knob from control panel front, from control panel back depress lock tab at right of level selector body rotate counter clockwise 45 deg and remove
adjacent to selector knob shaft is 1/8inch nut, turn clockwise to raise water level counter-clockwise to lower water level, test, adjust, test adjust ~1/2chance of fixing it

If fail
replace level selector body
