Question about Harman Kardon SoundSticks Computer Speakers
I recently bought my friend's old Harman Kardon Soundsticks, with the usb plug. He had a Mac, and I have a PC. So far, I cannot get them to work. Is there any way to get them to work on a PC running windows xp?
The USB version of the soundsticks was specifically designed for the mac and they worked just by plugging them in and then telling the system to use them instead of the analogue outputs. Unless someone has produced drivers for Windows XP for these speakers I think that you will probably not be able to use them.

I've been using the original USB SoundSticks on two different Windows machines for years. I'm running XP ProSP2, but I've never tested them to see if they work using XP Home, or anything higher (Vista, 7).
The speakers are P&P on every system I've ever plugged them into. If they're not working, check the speakers on someone's Mac to make sure that they're working, and not the problem themselves.
