I can't convert my videos to the format that the Philips GoGear Vibe can support.

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. I think you need a third party software, just convert your videos to the format which support by your player.
Here is a detail tutorial about how to convert almost all popular video formats even high definition video for playback on your portable multimedia players such as iPod touch/video/nano/classic, Zune, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Xbox 360, PS3, Archos, iRiver PMP Player, Creative Zen, Pocket PC, and Mobile Phone etc.

Which video format support in philips go gear player

Use latest "Media Converter for Philips" software (ex:sa6025_02_mcs_nld.zip) for video format conversion. It will ask you to insert the device (Philips GoGear) before launching the software and will convert based on the device supporting format. Enjoy.

Philips 2GB Go Gear wont upload vidoe

You have to use the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter to convert/transfer videos. If the converter is not recognizing a specific video type - FLV, for instance - download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder and convert the videos to AVI format first. Then the Philips Media Converter will recognize them.

The Philips Media Converter is not capable of converting an entire DVD - you will have to acquire video editing software, and then break up the DVD files into 15-minute chunks, and then convert each chunk.

If you are getting a codec error, do a google search for free video codecs - they are out there. Windows Codec Pack and downloading the latest version of quicktime will give you most of these needed codecs.

This player is not capable of playing copyright-protected videos - so don't even bother with them.

Additional information is available both from Philips website and from Arcsoft's website.

Cant convert video to my philips sa3020 or 3021

Unlike most devices the Philips 3020 will only play videos that are converted using the software that came with it and it will only open wmv files. So these are the steps that you need to do to successfully to play video on the 3020:

1) convert video into wmv format using any wmv converter (unless it is already in wmv format). I use WinAVI video converter and it works perfectly.

2) after the file is converted then you need to open up the Philips media converter that came with your MP3 player and add the files that you just converted to wmv format and then hit convert. If you can't find it here is a link to the download http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa3020_37/sa3020_37_mcs_aen.zip

3) After the second conversion process then connect up your 3020 and drag and drop the files.

** The Philips media converter will only accepts files im wmv format so that is why the first conversion step is necessary. If you try to open any other format it will not respond.

Hope this helps!

Non-Supported format detected

Some videos, like music videos, have a copyright protection system on them that will not allow them to play even if you use the converter. You can also go to Philips' website and get the upgrade for your Media Converter - worth a whirl.

Get another video converter and convert it to Windows Media Video (WMV) then convert it to SMV videos from there. IT works 100% Guaranteed.
