I just purchased a 92 Kawasaki 750ss jet ski but I cannot get it to turn on. I connected the lanyard, set the choke and turned on the gas but when I push start nothing happens, can you please help?

Take the positive booster cable attach it positive battery terminal (assuming the battery is good) and the other end to the positive terminal on the starter. This should make the starter turn over the engine. If the engine turns over then the problem is somewhere inbetween. If nothing happens then the starter is probably faulty. Hope this helps.

Inside of grey box to the left rear of engine compartment you will find the starter solenoid.Check for voltage there. On the outside of box you will see a knob that you can unscew, look under it and you will find a fuse for the starting system.Be carefull not to pull to hard on the wires.Let me know if this helps.

1992 kawasaki sc jet ski kill switch red button and lanyard kill switch will not shut down ski. Have to undo battery cable to get motor to stop.

The kill switch and the lanyard all do the same thing, they direct the power at the coils to earth. You have a disconnect somewhere. First place to check with a meter is right below the buttons and check that you have no continuity with the button up and continuity when the button is pressed. Then follow the wiring harness and check the connectors.

What if my 1990 Kawasaki TS650 won't start when it has a brand new battery, spark plugs, and new gas. It will turn over but won't start. Any ideas?

Is this a TS650 Jet Ski, or a Motorcycle?

Did you turn the gas on at the tank? Did you check that there is fuel at the carburettor? If you try and start it, did you remove the spark plugs and see if they are wet? Does it have an automatic choke, that is stuck?

2002 gti sea doo wont turn over on the first try

if you have one of the kill cords that is round and it snaps onto a round button that has a silver dot in the center that when the kill lanyard is snapped into place makes a connection to the silver part inside of the kill lanyard itself. most the time its because it is still verifying that it is the right key. they are programed to match you CDI box/ignition module of your ski. this prevents theft. if you clean both the key and the button the key connects to with some rubbing alcohol to insure a good clean connection will most likely solve the problem. when you put the key on the ski you should hear a beep then wait 5 to 10 seconds before hitting the start stop button . that gives the ski time to recognize the key is in fact the correct key to the ski.. hope this helps

I have a 1997 750ss kawasaki jet ski that has only done about 20hrs (has been in storage for 12 years) that was running fine (with a new battery) and has suddenly stopped. It turns over fine has new plugs...

There may be water in fuel, would suggest rebuild of carb, clean and new carb kit,the diaphragm may be damaged do to age,if fuel tank hoses were clogged then more than likely trash has clogged the jets.
