Installed stove, no flames on burners?

Hi, I just pulled out my old stove and replaced it with a GE XL44. Now the stove I got, someone had it set up for LP. I switched the orifices back to Nat Gas. I pulled the cap on the regulator and set that to Nat Gas also. Went to turn it on and nothing. First thing I checked was the gas. I pulled the burners off and turned the knobs on, one at a time for the burners. All hissed. Then I replaced the burners and tried each one. All 4 burners had bright spark. So I have gas and I have spark. What could cause the burners not to ignite?

Yeah, there is about 60 feet of pipe from the meter to the stove. Last night I did the whole lighter trick and waited and waited and waited. Still no flame. I did it this morning and about 5 minutes later I started getting flame. I guess I didn't think it should take that long to get the air out, considering the gas guy opened the shut off valve for about 10 seconds to get the air out before I put the gas connections on the new stove. Well, anyway, for anyone else out there that has this issue, Avids solution might work for ya. I knew there was air in the line, just didn't think after the gas guy purged it, there was still that much more air in the line. Kinda got me worried for a bit...lol. All works good now and it lights like it is supposed to.

It may still have air in the system, turn on one burner on and allow the gas to flow with a lighter in the path of the gas see if the gas lights of at least explodes I mean until it goes Poof, once it does that if it does not light then pull the top off the stove and adjust the vents on the pipes to focus the flames and how much air is blended in with the gas, also turn the burner so that the holes are half way open, I am not sue about your stove but most have an adjustment by turning the burner 1/4 of a turn to change the flame characteristics. if this does not help post here and I will see what else I can find out on your stove. I need the modle of the stove and the regulator number where the gas hooks up.

I have replaced gas lines and worked in the oil fields and some of the lines are 5 miles long talk about a wait! I figured it may have been that but was not sure and thanks for rating me, many people don't even when it's helpful, it's like not saying thank you after someone does something for you and to me this is what I do to try to give back, glad you got it working.

I believe my oven igniter is bad in my GE Profile XL44 Stove. How do I go about replacing it myself?

On most GE models: Remove oven bottom by removing two screws at very back of oven floor, lifting up back side of floor, pulling back a bit to disengage front of oven floor, and remove. Next, remove flame spreader, allowing you to see burner and igniter. It is easiest to remove the burner assembly to change out the igniter.

Unplug the range.
Remove the oven racks.
remove the oven base pan.
remove the flame spreader pan.
remove the glow bar ignitor on the left hand side of the gas burner and replace it with a good ignitor.

Take a 1/2 inch open end wrench and tighten the orifice on top of the safety valve.Probably about 2 turns. Then adjust the air shutter to mostly open.

Low Heat from GE XL44 gas range

you can increase the sides of the flames by opening the orifices, if not differences. make the orifices holes a bit bigger, you can have as big of a flame as you want. those orifices are at the connection of the burner with the valve that supplies gas to the burners.

Stove top pilot light

I have a GE Gas Stove XL44 the stove top buners don't light by themselves without manual lighting. When I turn on the buner knob the buner doesn't click. Also I used my self- cleaning oven for the first time and stopped it before the time was up after that is when the stove top buners wouldn't light by theirselves.
