Question about McCulloch 26cc Gas Blower Mcb3208

Fuel lines, McCulloch, Eager ****** 2014 with Zama M1-M7

Easy question for lots of folks, I suppose... I hope.

During my effort to replace deteriorated fuel lines, I was distracted for several days, and I've forgotten which carb port is which. Where does the line from the fuel tank (with filter on the end) go? And the other carb port (must be return or priming maybe??), what line goes there? Finally, what is the fuel line routing for the primer? Thanks very much. Feel like an idiot at this point.

Hey there, I'm not familiar with this particular tool, but, there is a good chance, that if you cut the fuel lines of an accurate length, mock up the replacement of the carb, and that should help you figure out, what goes where:)

My McCulloch Eager ****** 2014 chainsaw will start and run for 3-4 seconds then shuts off. What steps should I take to fix this problem.


1. Drain fuel tank - use new gas/oil
2. Replace the "In-tank" fuel filter and possibly the 1/8" fuel line also. This can be bought at any lawn mower repair shop or Home Depot.
3. If problem persists - remove carburetor and clean all passages. There might be a small screen that needs to be cleaned. If you dont tear any gaskets - they can be used again. Just make sure nuts and screws are tight
4. You may need to adjust the High & Low mixture screws by removing their plastic anti-tampering covers - the high speed jet is usually marked "H".
5. Make sure air filter is clean
6. Remove exhaust assembly and clean screen and exhaust port if 1-5 does not work

I assume you mean edger, not eager.
You must have the model number to find anything. You can go to the Mcculloch web site.

If that doesn't help:

Fuel Line Instillation: The longest, and sometimes smaller in diameter of the two fuel lines, goes fromthe carburetor to the bottom of the tank. Leave enough slack in thisline so that the filter that attaches to the end will rest comfortably at the bottom of the tank.

Theotherfuel line goes from the primer bulb to just inside the tank,(about an inch). Make sure that you get the right size fuel lines. Theplastic coupling goes on the end of this line, inside the tank. Thiskeeps the line from pulling out of the tank.

(HINT): When feeding the lines through the tank holes, cut the lines at anangle. They will feed much easier into the holes. You can than cut themoff square, once you know that you have enough to work with.

Carburetor Rebuild: Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:
You willneed to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb.cleaner. Make surethe small screen is free of debris. (Should be able to see daylightthrough it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152), to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

Eager ****** not so eager when it warms up!


If the chain locks up it may be to tight. Try loosening the chain and see if the same problem happens.

Its run by mcculloch an you put the product weather chainsaw or strimmer whatever an the type in the next collum an press download then print it off all very easy. My manual was in german so made up i found stumbled on this.
